Using a false number is called SPOOFING. Its perfectly legal, sad to say. On the bright side, every time they SPOOF their phone number it costs them money. Not much, but they still have to pay for it. They could be on the other side of the planet, for all we know. I just received a call from them but I dont answer when I dont recognize the number. Also, I dont do any business concerning money, in any form, over the phone, for any reason. Also, they dont necessarily use VOIP to do this. All of these scammers need to be located, dragged out in public and hanged. It also doesnt do any good to complain to the phone companies, as they make money off of every call, so they arent willing to help you.

I got a call from this number it was a machine saying it wasnt a solicitation and that was an important call for Crystal E. my twin sister then it said if I was Crystal to press 1 if not but I knew her to press 2 so I pressed 2 and it hung up. Afterwards I thought this was strange so I called the number it said it was cbv then I quickly hung up and decided to web search it after doing a call trace on my phone and finding out my Twin has no idea who they are and I found this page.

Do you not understand that they are also giving out bogus numbers when you look at your caller ID?.. They cant do anything about a non-existent number, period. So reporting that number would be pointless. They would then have a report about a number that isnt a real number so who are they going to tie that number to? With computer technology it has become just as simple to show a false number over caller-ID as it is to show a false e-mail address over the internet. People have been able to do that for a very long time. I was just called this morning from a 021620, which is not even a valid number unless it was international. Even then Im not sure thats an actual number. I cant find it anywhere online; not even a record of anyone else being called by it. When I look at my phone records it doesnt even show that it called. I answered but they/the machine must have broke the connection right before I did so because I looked back down at the phone and wasnt connected after saying hello a couple times. Otherwise I can only guess it was a computer error on Tmobiles end.

I've been getting hang-up calls from them, too.  Doesn't matter if I answer in person or let it go to voice mail, always a hang-up.

I recieved a text message asking me to call because a card starting xxxx is locked. I dont have a card starting with those numbers. Perhaps a scam to get your card numbers. Used as their reference website
