Thank you, George! I appreciate the info that you gave to stay vigilant and be protected. It is a nice reminder that crooks are getting more and more creative. That M.O. really concerns me.

I have my residential and cell phone numbers registered on this site and still get these telemarketing and nuisance calls. I now check call display and do not answer any numbers I am not familiar with. If it is important, they will leave a message and I can return the call.

I just received a call, on my work land line, from Adam Banks from Intracoastal Processing Services (using a blocked phone number). He stated it was for me using my first and last name. He said that I had not responded to a 10-day notice (which I have never received) and it was regarding a civil case against me (which I have also never heard about). He stated that it was my choice to resolve this outside of court and that I would need to call the legal company that hired him (he gave the phone number of 8667915694), which as everyone here seems to know is Intracoastal Processing Services. He then gave me a case number, which he rattled off too fast to right down and said good luck. So, the only information he had on me was my name and business phone number. He did not say who hired him, even though the phone number he provided leads back his employer. I dont know guys, seems pretty fishy to me.

Apparently this is a debt collector, I've not answered any of the calls I've received, but since they're on my cell, it's annoying, indeed. Jon's post (right above mine) is correct~once you know for sure who's calling, send the certified letter. I'm just irritated that I've had 6 calls in 9 hours; and this is the 1st day.
