NO.never, never, never answer a call from a bogus number like this!!!Now they know this is a working number with a human answering; it just bolsters whatthey are doing. Some of these scam callers will even take , for instance, a yes thats in your voice that they lead you into saying, and then transpose that into you agreeing to whatever their game is. You truly should just block these bottom-feeding slimeballs with their scams if you can or just ignore their calls and let it go to answering service...they never leave messages.The biggest no-no you can do is engage one of these fast talking pukes.and the odds ofthem taking you off their calling list is about 0.

I got my first call with the all zeros, at 3:00 A.M this morning! I didnt know about the all zero one. I only have a tracfone, and dont use it that much. Very scary to get a call at 3:00 a.m, on a phone that mainly only family members call me on.

My home telephone number was charged $7.14 for a directory assistance call to the 101-555-8000 number that allegedly occured on June 28, 2008.  No such call was placed from my residential number.  The charge appeared on my monthly Verizon bill as a charge from OAN Sevices, Inc. The billing was listed as "on behalf of calling 10 15 15 800". I contacted the number included for OAN billing questions (800-892-8424) and spoke to a customer representative.  This individual sounded as though he was working in a foreign country (perhaps India) based upon the large volume of background noise and non-English being spoken.  The man did not deny my complaint and stated that the charge would be reversed in "one or two billing cycles".   I then called Verizon customer service with whom I posted a complaint and requested a block be placed on my phone service against future charges from this complany.   Verizon reversed the charges and complied with my request for a block.
