Calls multiple times daily looking for person with the same name but different SS# and address. These people are extremely rude, threatening and will not listen. I will be reporting them to the Attorney General but I am looking for an attorney to file a class action suit against them. Hope others would be interested in joining.

I got the same call from a skype number. I didnt pick up the call , so obviously this is someone whois trying to get information or to get access to your computer. phone phreaking isnt uncommon, it could be coming from anywhere. Believe me, if he got an email from a phishing scam fro HSBC bank he would be on the phone with the bank, not you.

Just got a call telling me they are going to go to my county in TX and get me for $6000 if I dont settle my debt for $410 from a ChecknGo account from 2009 with her today... I told her to go ahead and she got very aggressive and started to say I threatened her and she said she would see me in court. They didnt even have my correct address and I dont work... What is bothersome is that they have my name and the last four numbers of my SSI did at one point have an account with ChecknGo but paid them off...she told me it wasnt her problem if I paid off a fraudulent company and the judge wouldnt care after the evidence that her company has to present to him.

I'm also on the DNC list. That 866-432-4100  phone number you suggested goes to a company called "Dial America", which not surprisingly, is a telemarketing firm with God knows how many clients. Rodale Press is just one of them. It's the weekend, so I could not get anyone on the phone, but I'll give them a call on Monday. I've had 13 calls from Rodale Press at 201-215-1700 in the last two weeks. They were told the first call not to call back. Now I'll try your suggestion of calling 866-432-4100 and if there are any more calls, I'll file complaints with the FCC at
